Sometimes stress brings with it a message to slow down, gosh darn it, lie yourself down and just rest. And sometimes you just can't hear the message so stress has to shout a bit to make itself heard. Ok, got it! It's a good idea to build up our listening skills these days and also our resting skills so that our waking working skills are stronger, wiser, more grounded.

Amplifying Activists Together
Every Friday in November @1-2pm ET
For the last few months I've been a part of a community dedicated to amplifying local campaigns that aim to deliver justice for ALL New Yorkers. Amplifying Activists Together meets every Friday for one hour to talk with and support local activists by lobbying our reps. They provide resources to find out who your reps are at every level, and detailed information about campaigns like #CancelRent, #FundExcludedWorks and repealing the #WalkingWhileTrans ban and give you scripts to use for calls, tweets, and emails. It's a powerful tangible way to make your voice heard at the local level, by encouraging our elected officials to do their jobs and work for US.
