MARCH MADNESS/STILL MAKING STUFF

Happy Monday!

I'm writing to you on my break from recording the original Broadway soundtrack for "Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812" and that's a really neat thing.  This ensemble is truly rad and I can't wait for you to hear what we've been laying down.

So yes, this Broadway gig has been keeping me pretty busy, but I am still making time for my extracurricular projects!  See below for what that all means in the coming weeks...

Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award and The Hunt Family Award
Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse
Wednesday, March 1 @7pm
I'm thrilled and humbled to be receiving an Emerging Artist Award and the Hunt Family Award from Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.  You know that I will always keep making the work I like to make, but it's pretty nice to have an institution like Lincoln Center recognize and applaud and affirm the things I'm doing.  Onwards!

The Great Comet Cast Sings Songs
54 Below
Monday, February 27 @7pm
Oh boy oh boy.  This huge cast of creative weirdos is getting together to play original music of our own and it's gonna be sick.  In addition to my own number I'll be singing with Gelsey Bell and Amber Gray, and I'll be accompanying Ani Taj as well.  And there are sure to be many many more delightful combos to witness!  This one really is worth the price of the fries.

And lastly, my musical about the early life of 12th century mystic and polymath Hildegard von Bingen has been commissioned by LCT3!  I've been making some really strong headway with the piece these past few weeks and am hopeful I'll get to share it with you soon. Stay tuned...

Might even keep me breathing,
Grace
